The Investment Committee for the Town of Shady Shores serves as an advisory to the Town Council.  The Committee consists of the Mayor, the Mayor Pro Tem, 2 Council Members, and the Town Administrator. The Investment Committee meets quarterly, this schedule is subject to change, official meeting dates will be posted and announced prior to the meeting.  

The Investment Committee advises the Town Council on: 

1. Annual review of the Town's investment policy;

2. Annual review of the independent financial audit (Comprehensive Annual Financial Report);

3. Sales Tax Oversight Committee;

4. Special projects as directed by the Town Council or Town Administrator

It is not the purpose of the Committee to advise on regular or routine financial administration, nor to become involved in anything other than the financial impact of the projects/programs they are asked to review.
