The Town of Shady Shores Contracts with Hickory Creek Animal Shelter for Animal Control Services. Hickory Creek Animal Shetler provides a variety of services to the Town including management of stray or abandoned animals, health and safety concerns and investigates all dog bites and or attacks. Registration in Shady Shores is voluntary.
Please help us get your pets and livestock home quickly and efficiently by registering your animals. Failure to voluntarily register your dog or cats could result in additional fees. See the Hickory Creek Animal Shelter page for more information.
Registration for dogs and cats is $10.00 through Hickory Creek Animal Shelter. Payments and tag pick-up may take place at Shady Shores Town Hall during normal business hours.

Registration of Livestock is FREE and helps officers identify where livestock is to be returned.
