To find out if the if you are registered to vote in the Town of Shady Shores please check with the Denton County Elections Office.



Upcoming Elections


he next General Election of City Officials will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020.  The following positions will be up for re-election.  
Alderman, Place 1
Alderman, Place 4
Alderman, Place 5

The first day to sign up for a place on the ballot will be Wed.  January 15, 2020.
The last day to sigh up for a place on the ballot will be Friday, February 14, 2020- 5:00 pm.

Voter Registration Instructions


You can obtain a voter registration from the Shady Shores Community Center, the Denton County Voter Registration Office, the library, most post offices and high schools.  You may also fill out a voter registration application online or request a postage paid application be mailed to you.  Note:  If you fill out the voter registration application online using the link above, you must print the completed application and send it to your county voter registrar's office. 


Note: No postage necessary if mailed in the U.S.
