CONSENT AGENDA
Each item listed on the consent agenda is considered to be routine by the Town Council and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council Member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda.  Information concerning consent agenda items is available for public review.

ORDINANCE REGULATING OPEN BURNING
Consder and take action relative to approval of an ordinance regulating open burning within the town limits of the Town of Shady Shores.
9.
ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 2017/2018 BUDGET
Consider and take action relative to an ordinance adopting the 2017/2018 Fiscal Year Budget.
10.
ORDINANCE ADOPTING A TAX RATE
Consider and take action relative to an Ordinance adopting a tax rate to fund the 2017/2018 Fiscal Year Budget.
11.
BOARD MEMBER APPOINTMENTS
Consider and take action relative to appointing members to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission; Places 1, 3 and 5.  Appointments are for a two year term.
 
12.
BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION
Conduct a worksession relative to the creation of a building and standards commission and appointment of members to the building and standards commission.
13.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Vernon’s Texas Codes Annotated, the Town Council may hold a closed meeting.

ACTION AS RESULT OF EXECUTIVE SESSION
Consider and take action on any items necessary as a result of Executive Session.

Discuss future agenda items and provide staff direction.

ADJOURN
The Town Council reserves the right to adjourn into closed session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed on this agenda, as authorized by Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberation about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberation about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices), and 551.087 (Economic Development).
